This seller will sell or trade you for a car the he does not own. His latest post was for a vehicle that he sold me 5 years ago and was attempting to repurchase from me. He explained to me how bad the VW market was, made me a low offer, then posted outdated photos, with inaccurate odometer reading and an intriguing work of fiction about a "Rare Barn Find". He listed the VIN number and showed original paperwork....but does NOT own the car. When a friend of mine contacted him to see the vehicle, he simultaneously agreed to show the car, and increased his offer slightly to me. He still had the vehicle listed for $10,000 more than he was offering me. A nice profit potential for doing nothing but creating a a fictitious ad and lying. A few years ago he attempted to trade me for a vehicle that I discovered he did not own. I should have reported him then, but gave him the benefit of the doubt. Let's keep The Samba honest.
