I'm not sure what to think about "just for fun too". He listed a car for sale on the classifieds and I somehow set him off. I asked for pictures as his ad asked interested buyers to do, and I received the most interesting response. What do you think?

If he's not doing a 'Nigerian money order' thing, then he may very well be mentally unstable. Avoid in either case.

At any rate, the ad should be taken down, imho.
