'66 21 window turbo bus to be done up on AutotopiaLA (youtube)

This popped up on youtube. Not sure if any of you know this bus, but I fell in love with it's looks when I first saw it featured in a Motormaven's write up.

Then I spent the next few years trying to find out exactly what colours were used on it. It belonged to Rolando from Ontario, California. Now it seems he has sold it to someone in LA who wants it redone big time. Not sure how this is going to turn out, because all the other cars they've done are high horsepower muscle cars...not VWs. In the vid, he hints that it was bought for $90K, which seems to be loads of cash for a bus with carpet on the ceiling.

Anyways, it's worth watching to see what they do with it.

At least they will be changing the color, which make my bus look less of a copycat.
