I came across these hubs but I'm not sure if they are for a vanagon or syncro? Any ideas? Front hubs?

They appear to be 2WD hubs turned down from old rotors.

What is holding the lug nut studs in?
The retaining end seems to have been machined off. I'd never bolt wheels to these!

They might be going into the scrap metal pile.

Dave,
If they are in fact 2WD rotors turned down, then they likely are not pressed in studs, they are more likely thread studs screwed into the existing threads.

You can probably sell them.

Highly unlikely.

You don't know what they fit, they are possibly homemade of unknown quality and integrity.

Market value?
Scrap metal, maybe .50 cents if the seller pays shipping.

IMHO......... Toss these in the bin, they are worthless.

Looks like old discs tuned into hubs for big brake conversions

Worth a coin, especially if somebody is doing the upgrade but doesn’t have got the machining to modify old discs.

The studs are just screwed in

My front hubs are very similar turned down rotors with lug bolts instead of studs. I think I paid $115 for mine. Other than the odd ground off studs, I don't see anything glaringly wrong with those.

Great for big brake mock up. Don’t scrap them. Add in classifieds “free” buyer pays freight. Better than scrapping them.
