I got new 3x3 rear trailing arms from latest rage. I bought new red bushings . when I went to install them tonight it seemed like there was a lot of gap, like 1/4 inch on both sides of the bushing when installed in the pivot housing. I have the 2 orginal washers on the outter side of the bushing . it seems like I could add a 3rd on the inside. is this normal? will it tighten up when I tighten the bolt. ?

Just use the 2 original large washer on the outside of the bushings and tighten pivot bolts, it should tighten up.
Make sure you use some grease on the bushings and inner sleeve or they will squeak.
I use SuperLube that has Teflon in it. Harbor Freight is one place that sells it. I also found it at ACE Hardware.
