I'm looking for a emergency flasher switch for my 71 bus to replace the aftermarket part that has been installed there.

I found one locally with the correct bus knob but it has a 14mm escutcheon, while the headlight switch and the opening for it are 10mm.

So, my question is, was the flasher also 10mm or was the flasher 14mm? Got to make a call on whether to return this one or not.

Thanks!

On my '71, it's 14mm. Reason: unlike other switches where the knob just pulls a shaft, the shaft for the e-flasher switch contains a light bulb to light up the knob, so it's bigger.

Telford,
Thanks for the quick response! Prevented me from sending back a good unit.

Keep in mind, that's for the US version of the bus...
