So I'm still going to ask. I have a swingaxle buggy that needs a rear wheel bearing. Now lots of the posts I read while searching the subject were from 2004, 2006 and so on, pretty old so I thought I'd ask if there is a better way to pull this bearing? I have to do it in a remote location on a gravel driveway so I'm hoping I can get a list of tools required and what else I'll need to replace while I have it apart. I see how it looks like it gets pulled, I was thinking a 3 jaw puller and using an angle grinder to cut slots in the outer race for the puller to grab against but am not sure since I didn't read anything about this method. Some guys suggested vise grips but again, I didn't find that procedure. It looks like I'll need some seals, gaskets and o rings but am not finding a listing on the parts, probably because I'm calling them the wrong things.

Seals, gaskets, "O" rings can be found in a "kit"...

Yup, I was calling it the wrong thing, all ordered. Do the bearings usually pull pretty easy? I know that's a fairly subjective question....

The few I have messed with the bearing came out with no trouble at all...

If the housings are as they are SUPPOSED TO BE, the bearings need a puller to remove them. Not many swingaxle housings or axle shafts are that snug anymore. It's been many decades since I had to use a puller to take one apart.
