Was cruising down the Pennsylvania Turnpike yesterday and passed a cool looking Vanagon. It was painted matte grey and had the license plate "Panzer IV" (or maybe "TV"?).
Just wondering if there was a story behind it or if that was someone on TheSamba. Looked like a cool ride.
Cheers,
Avo

Probably an homage to this:

A few years ago a company, MSD or MSDS?, sold Porsche conversions. They were referred to as "Panzers". _________________ Schau in das Buch |

Funny, "Panzer" was the name of our silver 2001 Jetta Wagon - a name it earned by succesfull carrying us to the Knowles Canyon overlook campground near Green River, UT. They later posted that road as "4WD only". _________________ '91 Westfalia GL Automatic (GTA "Turbo" Rebuild w/Peloquin) and 2.3L GoWesty Engine |
