So I got the 1963 buggy in parts.

I just installed the steering column and was trying to figure out how the wire comes out of the bottom of the column by where it attaches to the steering box.

Am I missing something or does the wire just twist and untwist around the bottom of the column as you turn the wheel that sure don't seem correct but I dont see how it works or I am missing a part. The wire comes out a slot just above the joint

Thanks for your time

ok I guess I am an idiot Smile

I should just run the wire out the bottom of the column to the other side of the rag joint to get it to ground and not to to the frame. So it does not twist
