Drove my buggy to see a VW carshow in Vero Beach yesterday. Had a great time! Well worth the 240-mile round trip and $5 registration fee that came with a "free" beer. While there, this interesting little bumper caught my attention:

I dig it. Looks like they used the center section and the ends. nice touch.

My last trip to Vero Beach was 3300 miles each way, 6 days there and back including a 3 hour stop at The Cape, 5 hours at Road Atlanta for the Walter Mitty, a side trip to Birmigham for a rained out NASCAR and a sprint car race in Brandon ND.
