I have a Dove Blue Metallic. I know what the Orly and Marine blue looks like but not familiar with some of the other variants of blue. Actually don’t know anyone on this forum that has anything but Orly and Dove blues.
So, show me what ya gots! Goes without saying, pics or it didn’t happen! |

That star blue metallic looks super! Looks very similar to the dove but I like it better!
Hey, I didn’t know you had a Eurovan too. I was considering an EV for my crashpad car but I decided to stay Vanagon because I just like it better. How do you like the EV? Would you rather have a Westy if you had your druthers? |

Both my vans are Westfalia products, and the EV is a poptop. I prefer the EV over the Vanagon in nearly every way imaginable. I keep the Vanagon because it's fun, quirky and I've had it for fifteen years. Star Blue Metallic was a one year only offering in the Vanagon. Mine is an ex-SoCal vehicle, so it's really faded and the clear coat has completely failed.

I couldn’t tell by the looks of the pic! The paint job looks pristine! But I’m sure it’s an old pic, huh? Thanks fur sharing! |

Original color was Dove Blue, PO got a fairly close repaint. It's a couple clicks off from the Paintscratch touchup..

These 3 blues look so similar to my eye... Orly, Capri, and Marine. I’ve always loved the Orly. But that Marine is just a little richer, deeper IMO. I gotta say, I think I’ve found my new favorite color in Marine Blue!!! Thanks for sharing! |

Wow! I’m not worthy with my plain Jane Westy! Dude, we need details details!! Interior and engine details! Then, ‘splain to me the lack of side windows...was it originally a panel van? I didn’t know panel vans had pop tops. Was the top added later? Thx! Again, KILLER van!!! |
