How to start without ignition (to prime)?

I'm at the point of restarting my 2001 EV after replacing the trans and pulling the pan+oil pump. I'd like to crank it for a bit without starting to prime both the engine and the trans. Is there a good way to do this- pull an injector or ignition relay or something along these lines?

If it has been less than six months since it ran, not to worry, but I would just pull all six injector plugs so you know no fuel is being injected, the crank for a few seconds., no more than 10.

You could also squirt in 47 ml of oil into each cylinder

Start up wear is an Internet diatribe with no factual basis.

Thanks, engine cranked fine without the coils connected, just threw codes that I was able to erase.

Maiden voyage after the trans rebuild, timing chains, all the hoses, tie rods, ball joints, CV rebuilds, etc. Feels good!
