Hey all-

Brand new bug owner here and learning my way around things, and having a blast.

I have a '65 Sedan that had aftermarket side mirrors on it. I removed them and put in an original left side mirror. However, after removing the aftermarket mirrors, I'm left with two screw holes in the door panel from those mounts. See images below.

How should I handle this? Is there a way to "patch" these? I hope to God that I don't have to replace the door panel.

Thanks ahead of time for the help. This community is amazing!

Weld, braze, or use filler of your choice.

Easiest for now might be to stick a fastener into each hole

Like what Mr. Cusser has and add some silcon sealant.
