Not sure the purpose of these, not even sure how to look this up with the search engine. One hole each side equidistant, obviously factory based on neatness. The one on the driver side had a small gray plastic plug but I could not remove it... it seems captive in a channel once I got it loose

Anyone know what they are for?

Well, there are two holes. One on each side, so I guess I get TWO silver sockets because it’s a DOUBLE cab, right? Cool

Well you know if the bus is left hand drive the silver socket goes on one side and if its right hand drive it goes on the other. Laughing

That makes perfect sense. Razz

I bet on the passenger side of the truck I will find the missing third silver socket hole near the door for the crew cab riders!

For what it's worth, people claim they are there for rust proofing access.
