What is the most suitable place to install new dual horns? The original location under the bumper or better somewhere else?

Here is one way to do it. I put the relay behiond the gloebox, and the button on the steering column cover. This way I have 2 horn options. The "beep beep" of the stock horn for low level attention getting, and the ear splitting dual horn for situations that require more authority.

My dual-tones were installed where the (wimpy) stock horn was. No issues in the roughly 8 years they've been there. _________________ ~Kamz

I also did the low mount (original location) for my duals but have had to replace a relay and some connectors as a result of exposure. An easy fix after years of service. _________________ '87 Westy in Wolfram Grey Metallic |
