I've never used one of those, but I have seen 12 gallon replacement tanks if that does any good. |

I've never seen a plug-n-play replacement fuel cell for an acvw, only custom fitments. Typically if a guy is adding a racing upgrade like a fuel cell, he's got a hotrod engine, that requires more fuel delivery than the mechanical fuel pump and even the stock in-tunnel fuel line can support.
Mike Lawless' adapted a fuel cell to the fuel tank stock opening on his 'show car build turned race car' blue Ghia. He built a flat aluminum plate, maybe 3/16" thick, holding it in place using the stock fuel tank clip brackets, in place of the stock tank. Then adapted an aftermarket aluminum fuel cell to the 3/16" thick aluminum plate, similar to this one:

I hope that helps _________________ 2-time NASA Pro Racing Champion, Bonneville 130 Club and 150 Club Memeber, BRS Pro Gas racer |

CIP1.COM lists a 12.5 gallon stock style tank that drops in. I bought on for my Ghia project.

This is the tank I used. It is ten gallon but you can see the measurements needed if you buy something bigger. You have room to go down.i used some angle iron from home depot for the mount. The cover is a dairy nut and some flat plate I had.

Here is the bracket in blue.
