Did a search and called WW to see if they have any complaints about the beading being quite a bit darker that paint. Just got the beading a couple days ago. We used the factory code for our paint and they are quite different.

Anybody else have a similar issue? We are pondering a dye on the beading, but may just stay black.

I think the black beading looks good on my diamond blue squareback. Helps contrast/define what are separate pieces on the car.

Probably best to dye it anyway, I bought WW beading for my '63 and it faded to tan within just a few months and ~2300 miles. It sat inside when I wasn't driving it so sun exposure was limited. I pulled and dyed them with SEM earlier this year.

I first had the car finished in June '17, they're noticeably red in this pic.

They weren't really spot on with the original cars I've had. But my roll of Gulf Blue WW beading for my '62 convertible I think looks good against the little remains of my OG paint. The running boards are slightly off too- but still really good. It's one car I do not have in my gallery...
