When I first saw the title I thought-why? who would want to see this:
But then I said "Ah, speedometer..." this:
About 155 according to my app I was running. _________________ '56 pan Dune Buggy since '69
don't live in the past...but when I did:

That's bookin' 'er pretty good for a short wheel based, plastic toy car! Pretty smooth road and no cross wind I suspect. |

yes, no crosswind in a toy car made of plastic held in by a seat belt...
I actually have a pic of me at the brother-in-laws pool like that but it won't let me put it in the gallery and I can only link it through facebook...don't click it if you are weak...

I had one a couple of Km higher but not a clear picture so this is the best I have for this time. A bit awkward holding a cell phone still in a plastic toy car at speed!

It's late Beetle, 3.88 if I'm not mistaken with some fairly tall rubber. The original 1600 DP struggled with it but the type 4 engine takes it in stride. Speedo could be a bit off too. That's actually 4400 as the tach marks are worth 200 each. |
