Does anyone know where to source the seal/rubber that goes between the body and the hinge protector? My 61 has the original swr protectors and I would like to install them. I read a thread that bustoration had them but it was quite old and the site doesn't seem to recognize my search _________________ 1967 Sunroof Beetle: tourist pass car

Sometimes I can't locate what I need through searching also. Just call them and ask as they most likely have it. It's nice to talk to a human too, Ronnie often picks up the phone at Bustoration and he knows my project.

I'm curious as to what that seal looks like too.

Have you considered simply starting with a nicer bus? I don't know what your skills are, but the race is easier if you can see the finish line. If you are not a runner, don't start off doing a marathon. |

Thanks hazetguy, I must have been typing and of course spell checking while you were posting. We are in sync, very cool image and wow only $5.00 bargain as it's most likely German.

Agreed, 5 bucks is great for such an obscure piece imo. _________________ 1967 Sunroof Beetle: tourist pass car
