I have a '59 36hp fuel pump that is no longer working. Bought a kit but will need time to rebuild. I have a '58 ghia with the original motor on ground. Will that fuel pump work on my '59 bug? Can I just remove and install on bug?
thanks. |

If that engine has been sitting long the rubber diaphragm is likely hardened up and ready to split open pouring fuel into the crankcase. Probably better to rebuild the fuel pump, it should only take about an hour to do. _________________ In Stereo, Where Available! |
