Good job. But wouldn't be better served just replacing the whole channel with all that rust? |

I noticed this was loose. Just flapping around. So I cleaned it up and whipped out the mig.

Dansk channels are suppose to be pretty good. TDCTDI recommended them. I just ordered up some from CIP1 because I don't have Klassic Fab money either.
I agree about Klockerflum. I bought some pans for my last 65' and they were made like crotchless panties. lol |

No idea on the mounts. The stock ones are pretty flimsy, so maybe the CIP1's are just as lame.
Definitely not much to the floor pans. They would wave in the wind. |

Time to start tapping the oil galleys. I already pulled the plugs. I got a 100 off voucher from summit which is awesome! whats not awesome is i can't buy wine soo...
I call this the Ghetto blastah 5000 I tested it and it works! I just need to 3d print a 2 1/4in to 5/8 adapter for the output on the pump.
Should clean up the heads and case fantastic! A little small but it will do until summer when I make a giant version.
Meanwhile... my daily has been absolutely eating my bank account to death. Literally every other week something breaks on it. This time the tandem pump $$$

Bummer about it eating your account! Hopefully it stops soon, you don't need more stress in your life, man. |
bailing wire thats what i used to hand the exhaust on my TDI
yeah its not fun. But ALL modern German cars do it. They are cheap used. Not so cheap to maintain. _________________ -'85 c10 5.3 LS, 222 cam, long tubes, x pipe, 3 inch spin tech's

I had a 2002 VR6 which I paid way too much for. Later, Dad needed a vehicle with aircon (the symptoms he told me he had, including a brief black out, sounded like a heat stroke) so gave it to him, but he wanted all the front suspension replaced and would pay. Put in over $1,200 and then he was too sick (I wasn't aware until too late) to remember it was a loan. I wasn't going to pay $500 to ship back here, so sold it for $200. Not upset, Dad spent a lot of money on me, point is, know all too well how little their worth and the astronomical parts costs. _________________ Please consider I am Autistic, so I process information differently and still working on social skills. first... remember proper ppe! my feet were coated in clay + sweat. putting on socks didnt sound appealing to me.
I got shitted on today by my mig. may be the outlet but the "bacon" sound was REAL bacony today my dad came yelling because all the lights in the house were flickering.
thus, my welds are absolute dog crap. which is annoying cuz my last welds were marvelous.
i decided f it. redo it for a third time and get it dead on even. _________________ -'85 c10 5.3 LS, 222 cam, long tubes, x pipe, 3 inch spin tech's
