I'm not sure anyone here is an expert on the valuation of EU located museum quality 80s VWs. I certainly have no idea, I'm not an expert.
I am just a lazy shade tree tinkerer who works on old cars to stop thinking about the larger problems of life that aren't as easy to fix as a broken strut, like the fact that my entire life is lived on basically a razors edge and if I were to fall due to medical/legal/what else it would be basically impossible to scrape my way back up. Hahaha.... except no one's laughing.

I ordered today the Oettinger decals for my car direct from Oettinger I ordered two sets one i silver and one in Black. The syncro badges are in Silver but I have to try wich one is more to my liking. At least with the syncro badges the silver was more mature looking.

What comes to the value I appriciate the suggestions and they help just asked for a few more sights from around the world that would have helped with crosreferencing cars that are for sale. But I already insured this with an value that is propably a bit on the low side but as the number came from my insurance company and it was high enough i went with it.

After I got the Oetinger IC ready, I have been busy with my Split Van now and I am getting the floor ready welded, now I have still some grinding to do on the seams, but it start to look like it should.

Today I got the Oettinger Stickers for my T3.
I did not know if I wanted black or silver it all depends how it looks beside the syncro badge is it beter with less or more contrast.

Now the question is wich is better black or silver, the silver is slightly different to the 4WD sticker but the black is a bit harsh, what do you think?

I was looking at the kingpin and break assembly for my -65 split bus and realized I had some vrong yearmodel parts for it. I had sourced 65 breaks and drums and it seems that the king pin set is not compatible with the drums. I have new 65 braks no backing plate. What would be the minimum patts I would need to order to get it togather, e. g. can I judt order new drums and wich yearmodel break shoeld would be smaryest to get?
The big issue is that I do not know the yearmodel of the kingpin set I suspecy pre 62 but is that correct can you confirm it?

I have now got confirmation from two sources tst the Kingpins are 55-63. Tje question is what to do now dors some one know wich parts are inter changable and what are the differences.
I have:
65 Drums cylinders and shoes
55-63 Kingpins..
I have to re do something but sounds bad to scrap the restored kinpins not that it is easyer to scrap the new breaks.

I bought a compressor fridge for my vacation and I'm pretty impressed by it. It runs nicely on hotsommerday in car for 36hand the car still start without a problem and all this with just one 62Ah battery for the whole car. With a consistant 5 deg celcius.
I knew that the compressor models are good but this exceeded my expectation.

I took two broken gearboxes and built one togather that should do the job.

Tölkkifoorumi.fi perinteiset kesäkauden päättäjäiset 9.10.2021
Last weekend we had the season finale meeting for the Tölkki Foorumi vw club in finland. This club allows allbusses and vans oicups etc but consists mostly of T3 and especially syncros. But there were besides theT3 model also atleastan LT Syncro an T1 and an T4 picup participating. Cars came and went so I might have missed something.
I came with the Oettinger IC to the meet.
