Hmm.. never payed atention to that one. I have only Diesel versions so could it be that the petrol versions have a different feed pipe as the tank is also different? _________________ 65-T1 1500 45HP

The pipe should be the same shape.... I have a diesel tank and 1986 petrol pipe.
You can barely see it on this pic, it`s during my conversion to Syncro

I have 87 88 and 89 yearmodels. I do not remember what the 87 has as I have never removed the pipe from that one but 88 and the 89 on the picture both have the same type. _________________ 65-T1 1500 45HP

No it does not, when they rust they do it between the pipe and the body due to accumulated dirt and both the body and pipe tend to rust through, leaving the mount out side the dirt cake still functional just the pipe leaking diesel and body with a hole.
On the AHL syncro I had to weld that area and change the pipe when I built it. _________________ 65-T1 1500 45HP

Here is just for curiosity an oilpan I made for the AHL 1.9Tdi engine, will obviously fit also other newer model engin blocks. It was designed with CAD and watercut out with cam and bent to form welded and milled straight.

The exhaust mont holes are in two heights as I was not sure did I want the engine to be lovered to awoid a boldge on the engine lid for the injection pump or not. I went with the lowered engine and hench the exhaust is monted higher to place it in tyeorginal place. _________________ 65-T1 1500 45HP

I have made a few for sale but they are not cheap. The copany cuting and bending them takes his share as do the welder and miller so few have spent the money.
I also sold it as build it your self kit with just the metal cut and bent to schape to weld and mill your self. _________________ 65-T1 1500 45HP

I basically made it as I did not find any that had all the features I wanted.
Most of the ready sets on the market lacked the following.
1. They could not be mounted with the Syncro skidplate
2. no exhaust mont
3. no splash plate
4. no 50° install.
5. no filler tube place
So if one do not find the part ready then one have to make it one self.
This one has all the features I wanted with a oil volyme of 6,5 liter. _________________ 65-T1 1500 45HP

Oh, there`s a shock behind it, it`s just well hidden.
If you look closely you will spot a plastic ziptie to hold the strap close to the shock No magic suspension, sorry _________________ Silicone Steering Boots and 930 Cv boots for sale in the classifieds.

I have been uusing the AHL syncro for my vacation now and the new sliding window from Just Kamper is good but the grill they sold for it is not perfect. If I leave it on when driving it whistles and even more anoying ratles and therefore I have to dismantel it everytine when driving. When I get home I will look into it and figure how to silence it if possible.
For the night the grill is good it gives a nice ventilation. _________________ 65-T1 1500 45HP

I got the old engine out and painted the enginebay from the Oetinger IC Syncro.
