Not really - same engine, same air, same road dirt, just shorter duration.
The effects are identical, just that most guys on the track have little to no concern about long engine life. A co-worker of mine ran an open Weber DCOE on his Harley Davidson motor cycle. I asked him about road dust and he just shrugged and said "I rebuild it every winter anyway." |
