Hi All.
I did a search but couldn't find any information on where the seat holding down bolts are fitted on a standard floorpan. can amyone help with measurements please? |

Many of us have been through this before, and asked the same questions. I've sent you a PM about this, and recently, when restoring the chassis on a 58 Standard Sunroof I've owned for years, I went throughthe same experience. See pictures below.
Whatever you do, don't put the posts in without reference to the seats you are fitting, and have them in place prior to drilling the holes!. As you can see, between the chassis centre tunnel, and the heater channels, there is little leeway either way for wrong fitment.
Interestingly, the last picture shows the bare metal chassis after sand blasting, on its way to be primed and painted, although it looks as though it is already in primer.

My floorpans are from a late model (long story). I may change them in the future when the body comes off again for painting, but for now they're staying as I want to keep it on the road.
