One of the guys I work with said he sold his VWs but kept his fire extinguisher (plastic with a bellows type pump). Did VW produce a fire extinguisher?
Thanks,
Dave |

Never heard of a plastic fire extinguisher with a pump??? As far as I know, VW never supplied an extinguisher with its passenger vehicles.
A halotron fire extinguisher is a good choice for suppressing vehicle fires.

So once I found the brochure that had the photo, I just HAD to find a similar extinguisher. The brochure says its an all brass construction (which is what 80% of the extinguishers of that period were constructed of). My search, which took entirely wayyyy too long ended with this Presto 9 1/2" that looks exactly like the "Scout".
Now that I've found this one, someone can find the "Leader"
