4 tab hood hinge mount metal

Working on my wife's 54 ragtop and three 4 tab is as clean as any I have ever seen except the hinge mount had a bit of rust so I started poking at it and it was super thin so I pulled it..... now I am hopeful someone makes a quality reproduction of the mounts so I don't have top make my own. If anyone knows of anyone that makes quality reproductions that are correct for a 54 4 tab please post up.

This may be a future project for Mika, as the hinge mount area is prone to rust on all early VWs...

Yes, it's on my list and I have a reference part to look. But it's not very easy part to make. And as always there are 2 sides, when got the first side ok, they you still have the other Smile
