I touched on a couple of estate sales in the past few years. If an agent isn’t charging about 50% of gross they are probably buying some of the stuff at shills and reselling it to make the numbers work. 25% won’t cut it.

I inherited a big Craftsman desktop roll around toolbox from my dad. A lot of the tools that I got were weird SAE wrenches (19/69"?) but in my case I'll just leave them to my son. I have a crap ton of metric tools going back to my motorcycle riding days from 40+ years ago and while I don't necessarily use them "every 3 years," every now and then there's that tool that I need... It helps to know where they are buried...
