I see two different styles of side badges for a Karmann Ghia, which is the correct one to use? The one has a flat edge on top, the other has "ears". Or are they both original and go with different years? Mine is an early 1969 and want to be sure I buy the correct version.

My 1970 Coupe has its original badge in place with the flat top (no "ears"). I suspect that the "ears" version is much earlier.

The one on the right is known as the "Bat Ears" logo, and it was from 1955-1959, some 1960 had them too. Flat top badge is all cars after that. _________________ -Andy-
