Hi There,
my first post in this section, but I have researched the forum a lot over the last few months.
I am in the process of building a vintage speed engine for my original paint '58 RHD beetle here in Australia.
I am from the U.K originally and have sourced parts from the U.S and U.K for the project.
WW twin port kit with carbs
WW sports cam
WW crank 69.5mm
WW 81mm P/L
Abarth exhaust
AA Rods for 36hp
AA 2 piece lifters
empi ally cut to length push rods
ratio rockers from AA
WW fram filter etc etc
Along with lots of other parts
My Main (EXCUSE THE PUN) issue is that no one has the bearings I need!! through my research it seems they all come via BBT?
We intend to machine the case to:
0.020 Case
Std crank
Std trust or oversize
But we haven’t machined the case yet so could go bigger on the mains?
I ordered these as they were in stock, later to be told they aren't and no lead time...
Part#: 111 198 451/50

Please help if you have a a set or supplier send me some info.

I have 2 sets, std, std, but no main in either set, Repco and ML, had them since the 80's thought they were 40 hp, which I plan to rebuild. _________________ 73 Type 181

those are std. std. not what he needs.
he's looking for 111 198 451 /50 (case)
or 111 198 451/os in k/s brand
or 111 198 451b glyco
different brands label them differently .
anyhow the 451 means standard crank.
453 .010 under 455 .020 under 457 .030 under crank
Steve
cip1.com shows they have them in stock _________________ 55 deluxe 23 window bus

I've got a few set's of 36HP laying around that I need to measure. let me know what you need. If I do not have them I know other folks with stacks of them.
The Glyco ones can get pricey. _________________ www.vwnos.com [email protected]
