I’m looking for the passenger side tin that covers the cylinders for the 1700 engine .The driver side is there but missing other side.Does anyone make these new ?Thanks _________________ 66 VW Beetle |

No, you'll have to watch the classifieds, 72-74 are all compatible. Search for "sled tins", "tins", "under cylinder", etc..., or just look for someone parting a similar year and ask if they have one.
In the meantime invest in a few cans of Gunk engine brite and get to work degreasing your engine top to bottom, would you think it's OK if you opened the rad cap on a water cooled vehicle and saw all that crap blocking the flow? _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

Just working on finding the missing parts .Will have her cleaned up before it hits the road,still too cold outside to rinse engine off and not something I wanna do in my garage.Thanks for the heads up on where to

That’s not an unusual amount of crud to find under a bus. Think of it as free rustproofing. Yeah, it’s better when it’s clean.
Luckily engine tin is easy to find in the classifieds. |

Does anyone know if stainless wiper blades are available for this year bus?It seems trico makes a classic wiper blade but won’t bring up for this year VW? _________________ 66 VW Beetle |

I found the missing engine tin in California .Had it delivered to residence in Phoenix hopefully borders open this year and I can grab it lol _________________ 66 VW Beetle |
