I went to check its operation last weekend, and even used a borescope to peek into the shroud and check flaps... they stayed open even when cold... seemed strange, so I looked underneath.

Not sure when, but I lost the bolt holding the bottom of the thermostst to the bracket on the road.

Anyone know the thread size and length off the top of their head? I can go get one at ACE but want the measurements right... and another lockwasher for it, too!

Got to love the design of the thermostat system. Fails open.

Thanks, I'll check out that size, and use a more aggressive split washer, too.
