I thought after posting so many separate questions on the forum I'd try to keep progress all in one place. To my amazement, a few of you keep your finger on the pulse of just about every known car out there, no matter its condition. But for those who don't. You can see from my previous posts I bought a chassis, shell and boxes of bits in 2009, uncovered it wonderful history but had to sell it on a couple of years later. I was fortunate enough to buy it back in 2019 as a running and driving car, so now it's a rolling restoration. I'm hoping to put as much as I can back to stock, because this old car had plenty of mods along the way. I'm not a club or meeting type, I prefer to just tinker in the garage and drive as often as I can, so I find this forum invaluable for all those intricate details and year spacifics. So thank you all for your input so far.

So here's the car from 2009

And here it is nowadays.

Current work is around converting back to mechanical brakes from a 60's hydraulic mod. And experimenting with my home zinc plating set up.

And replacing the early oval interior with a bolt down stock original and re-trim.
Frames just back from the painters and fabric arrived from Marcus.

Congratulations on returning yet another early car back to as near original spec as is possible.

Great work, keep it going.

I have read your comments about clubs and shows but we would love to see the car at Stanford Hall in May and Lavenham in June.

A quick update. Seat frames looking good and soon to fit Mika’s fantastic holding down bolts. Lockdown has put pay to re upholstery for now though.

Oh and I spent some time with some 1500 grade wet & dry on the wing.

So good to see this progress. That lock was a find and the seats look great!
