The biggest surprise to me, is that this thing has 2019 tags on it I know California is big on emissions testing, but do they do safety inspections? |
Fortunately, no. |

And all these years I thought everyone in Latvia looked like:

A new video of the strip down of this bus premieres on March 18, 2020, at 6:00 am (not sure of time zone). Here is a link:

Looks like the M code tag is still there, seeing that the bulkhead is still there. I would like to know the specs. Looking far away seems like it was dove blue but possibly a respray as I can see some blue inside.
Dove blue 15 window would be rare? Unlikely tho... _________________ Ask not what your bus can do for you, but ask what you can do for your bus.

I'm going to save this video and use it for a drinking game. You'd be sauced half way through it if you drank every time you hear "wow" and "oh my God"..... |

Its kind of sad watching knowing is being desecrated for "content" and "clicks" but then again I don't know what else could be done with that besides letting it rot somewhere else even more. |

The video released today has more information about the bus before the removal of all of the house paint and art work. Eddie Collins from Hot VWs shows the original paint in one of the wheel wells and talks about it being a sealing wax red bus.

Dang. I lived in SB from 1999-2011 and I remember that thing putting around the SB harbor and SB city college. I thought it was an old hippy lady living in it, but it did run. Funny thing my SB bus was super rotten on the lower 12" and I bought it from a homeless dude living in it. That bus has a solid lower 12" and completely roached above that. That paper mache didn't do that poor bus any favors. IMO, slammit and put it on earlies. |
