I get folks will say power pulleys are no good for street use but I was told that power pulley will work better with 1.1 /25hps since they have small 75mm pistons and wouldn't heat up as much .. would this be true what are your guys thoughts on power pulleys on small engines |

I would start off with a 16 blade fan. Compared to a 28 blade fan it moves 7% less air, but it will give you 3 or 4 more hp at 4000 rpm.
If you have your mind set on the power pulley, look into having your combustion chambers ceramic coated. According to Jake Raby it really helps keep head temps down.

According to Progressive Refinements, 16 blade fans were stock equipment up until 8 Nov 1960, so a 25hp should already have one. If you "must" run a power pulley, consider monitoring the running temperatures, to stay away from trouble on those really hot days. _________________ "Criticism comes easier than Craftsmanship"

I'd be surprised if you could get away with a power pulley and a stock fan. Maybe a power pulley with a 40hp fan, but thats 6 of one, half a dozen of the other... _________________ 36hp '56 European DeLuxe oval, '70 bug 1835cc dual 36DRLA, and a '98 4x4 5spd single cab Tacoma |
