I am looking for the " plastic" heater pipe through the body on a 74 Super Beetle.
I've looked at the Wolfburg West catalog, J Bugs catalog and yes, even Mid America!.... Shocked

Have I overlooked this item? Is it being repopped or will I need to seek out used items?

Sadly the PO decided to put in one of those stupid booster fan kits....poorly .......and just ripped out the pipes with no regard of what may or may not be bent or damaged in the process. I sourced some used Y pipes from another member here but can't properly install them until I locate a source for these pipes. I've enclosed a photo of the Y and it shows the broken plastic pipe.

Thanks for any and all leads / sources for these pipes!

those are available at the sites you mentioned.

MAMOTORWORKS gets a bad rap, their prices are higher most times, but they usually have what I'm looking for, and being on the east coast, I get stuff faster than all the Cali part houses, which is sometimes worth the slight price increase. Also never had a problem returning stuff or getting help on the phone, liked Rocky Mountain Motorworks better but what can you do?

East coasters might also try BUG CITY in CT, they have lots of good stuff, and tons of NOS and harder to find used German stuff.

They're out of stock at Mid-America.

Here's a few options at Bug City in CT. Since you're in Jersey you'll probably get them in a day or two.

Thanks for the links guys!

I have the hard copies of the catalogs, I must have over looked them.

The price is a little steep on them, I may come up with a way to make the broken ones work using sheet metal and high temperature HVAC metal duct tape for now.

Too many other things to buy right now, heater cables, rubber seals, door panels, tires, etc!

Can these pipes be replaced without lifting the body off the frame? Broke the left side while replacing the steel flex-pipe the PO forced over the end on the engine side.

I was recently under the car replacing a bolt that worked its way out of the heater pipe over time. It was pretty tight up there but got the job done. Not sure how taking the body off would help. Maybe I misunderstand?

Afaik not in the original shape. The flange has to be carved so that it fits between body and torsion bar tube.

TK-CS is correct. The flange does have to be shaved some.
