Very nice, all round, especially the colour scheme.

What motor have you in there?

thanks, its a 1776.
dual 40s, with Bergman fan shroud, strait cam,, sounds nice.
its got the larger 1 5/8 exhaust so im having a hard time finding heater boxes to fit. I might just make some..

I was debating painting it the stock pampas green & pearl white. but I always loved the oval color agave, so I painted it that with corresponding stone beige interior parts.

Your colour scheme and the choice of agave confirms something I have always believed about our Ghias, and that is that a soft, creamy colour scheme suits our cars pretty well.

my friend helped me rebuilt it, I machined a case from a clean 70s beetle. CB 044 heads, weber 40s, external oil cooler mounted above the tranny. I wanted it to have a vintage Porsche 911 365 look, clean using just black red yellow.

Your car is Awesome, and I am loving the motor. But how dare you mention having a BB Fan Shroud!! I got slammed when I mentioned mine, but lived through it and decided I'll do what I want with my motor.

That said, do you have any additional photos of your external oil cooling system? I have been trying to figure out where to mount my cooling fan and my initial thought was to do the same as you, above the tranny, below the rear cargo area, but wasn't sure if it would be able to get cool enough in that position or if I should locate it in another place. You can PM me directly if you don't want to post here. Either way your Ghia is Beautiful!

PS, My wife loves the pics of your cat and we laughed our heads off just looking at it....Great model!

Your engine definitely has a 356 4 cam appearance; the interior is gorgeous - such attention to detail - and the color combination was a fantastic choice. Can you show a complete picture of the dealer badge? Just love this car. Nice kitty too.

I wonder what's wrong with that guys fan shroud, It has a neat look, I always told myself I would put the stock engine back in one day. I just wanted to build a bigger motor when I was a kid. since its not a stock motor anyway I don't care who made the shroud.
ill pm you info about the cooler..

Very nice. Maybe my 61 will one day look as clean as yours. Probably be with its next owner.
Where did you get the yellow headlight glass from?

Thanks, i found most parts if not all on this website throughout my restoration the past 20 years. Here is one on the classifieds now, if you ask me its a screamin deal, but theyre not cheap.
