The 48ida rebuild kit I just received from Pierce Manifolds in Gilroy, CA has a new brass float in it. _________________ Joseph

IDA's are inherently Alcohol friendly.
Brass floats are part of that... |

I put plastic floats in my IDA's after chasing an issue for ages with a needle valve being overcome that eventually turned out to be a pinhole in the brazed seam of one of the brass floats. No problems with the plastic items so far and dimension wise, they were spot on. _________________ Blah..... |
