Did minor tune up yesterday, plugs, oil, filters etc. Sounded good took it out this morning and did not get past the driveway. Dies with little power in gear. No need to comment on my mechanical ability I know it's crap. I will start going through the tune up in reverse order but any suggestions as to likely places to look?

thank you thank you.

First guess is firing order.

The plug wires need to very specifically go in the proper order.

If you did not touch the distributor cap or wires, just try switching plug wires 1 for 2
If no different or worse, switch them back and try 3 for 4

If that's the big plug on top of the air filter, yup. Not all the way in. Thank goodness for easy fixes. My second most favorite tune up improvement is switching the firing order around, so good guess dj.
