Having problems identifying this exactly. Do of Brazil made. Can you make out the wiring pattern on the housing?
To me, it looks like a headlight high/low relay? I can't find it on GooGle anywhere.

That’s what it looks like to me, though my 79 has the 53 post offset to one side and not centered like those. _________________ 1979 Transporter (sold)

terminal 53 is usually found in the wiper system _________________

I figured it out.
Its an intermittent wiper relay for sure. I forgot Telford helped me install this one in my 74. The wiring is different than the German one. That's what confused me as I cant plug this one in against a 111 955 531 German one. Won't work.
I put one of these into my 77 as it has two relays - one for the intermittent and one for the headlight washer. The intermittent didn't work after I was all done with the headlight washer and I didn't know why - this was it.
To further confuse - it's not on the internet. Well now it is - here _________________
