SO-42 /SO-44 door table screws + cargo door panels vinyl source

Hi !

As everyone I am using the quarantine to fix little things on my SO-44.

Today I saw that my tables came loose from the hinges as well as from the door.

Some years back I used a few screws I had laying around to fix them but it seems that size is not adequate. I don’t want to go oversize.

As I am always trying to get details close to original I’d like to know if someone has a picture of the « table to hinge » and « hinge to door » screws that were used originally and their specs (size, material, slotted heads or other).

I also have in mind to once refurbish or make new cargo door panels. My original ones seem to be made from a kind of a thick board but not made of wood and on top of it there is a cigarette paper thin layer of white/beige vinyl. Has anyone a source for both materials?

This is from SO42 manual but I have no reason to believe the door screws are model specific. YMMV

I believe the screws you are looking for are listed as number 5 in the book.

This shop just re-did all the wall and ceiling panels accurately in my '67 SO-42 Campmobile and did a beautiful job. Jeremiah might be able to help you replicate your panels...

I met these folks ^^^ a few years ago at BBB and they make/remake amazing interiors. If they do the whitish panels- that's where I'd go. But I'd honestly like to do a kombi with their natural wood matchbooked interior one day.
