Castanet news in Kelowna report:
"A Kelowna resident is going through a nightmare situation after she woke to find her camper van stolen.
Catherine Jean Gibson says her 1987 Volkswagen Vanagon was taken early Friday morning at 3 a.m. from an underground parking lot on Sunset Drive in Kelowna.
In the Facebook post she writes, "a lifetime spent fixing it up getting camping equipment for my retirement — all gone — this was my van."
The van is a black, 1987 Volkswagen Vanagon, with the [BC] license plate 935 SCH."

The article says the fb post was shared 5,000 times. I'm not quite sure what that means but it seems that a lot of folks saw the post. I'm curious how it was found.

| The owner said that a retired RCMP officer spotted it, and reported it. It sounds like the only damage is from being hot wired. |
