I do remember that episode. I think the car was so unsafe, they built the kid a Scion instead. Maybe we could call to see if Xzibit wants to come out of retirement. Laughing

Good for you for tackling a basket case project like this. Your progress so far is amazing. You are free to add windows to this bus without judgement. I say if you take a VW bus without a nose that was being used as a shed and bring it back to the road you can do what ever you want with it.

You didn't miss it, I just skimmed over it due to the lack of pictures. Razz

The frame has been joined and the lower sections around the bulkhead have come together. The finish welding on the top and in the B pillars will be in silicon bronze once all of the gaps are good. The plan is to get it on the rotisserie soon and media blast the underside.

Here it is again with the frame together. I'll try to get a few pictures of the B pillars soon with the low hinge/high hinge creative cuts and splices.

Just for the hell of it you should to the rear cargo door high hinge but the front one low hinge as a subtle nod to it's 2 different era front and rear ends

Let's not get crazy now. Laughing I do need a package/parcel tray. The subtle nod would be a fat lip model. Very Happy

Thank you for the "as found" pictures! It looks like the top had a little dancing done on it in your pictures, but its straight now. Did you happen to pop out the dents? Any details on where you found it or its life as a paint shed?

No, we will fill those in. I think we have enough OG metal to do the job.
