The clutch pedal on my 73 bus is bent and I'm looking to correct its crooked path. You can see that it is bent toward the end of the pedal shaft.
In addition, the metal piece below the bus that connects the clutch pedal to the cable is also bent and does not align with the small rubber bumper.
I've looked for photos in the Bentley of the correct orientation of how this piece should be aligned but have not seen one. And so I'm wondering if anyone has a photo of how this should actually be lined up.
Thanks (as always) for your help. _________________ Late 1973 Bay w/a transplanted 914 Engine |

It should go through the center of the hole in the floor.
Your hole looks like it might be worn out of round at this point. |

Thanks for the photos - I think these are of the brake pedal - but the principles are the same. I got under the bus and used some gentle persuasion and was able to move the below-the-bus clutch lever into place. I also was able to straighten the pedal post and now have a more center pedal travel.
