I have a 69 sedan and I have the chance to get original 73 super beetle bumpers. My only problem is I don’t know if they will fit for sure since I’m new to this and I looked but I wanted to make sure. Thanks in advance for helping friends! Very Happy [/quote]

Super Beetle bumpers have a different curve, but you can "make" them fit.

Make them fit in what kind of way? Like a good way or a way that shouldn’t be done?

The curve is different, the mounts are different so you have to drill some hols are a minimum.

I THINK the rear bumper from the 73 might be the same as your '69. Front is definitely different and everything changed in '74.
