I have a 69 sedan and I have the chance to get original 73 super beetle bumpers. My only problem is I don’t know if they will fit for sure since I’m new to this and I looked but I wanted to make sure. Thanks in advance for helping friends! [/quote] |

Super Beetle bumpers have a different curve, but you can "make" them fit. _________________ Glenn

Make them fit in what kind of way? Like a good way or a way that shouldn’t be done? |

The curve is different, the mounts are different so you have to drill some hols are a minimum. _________________ Glenn

I THINK the rear bumper from the 73 might be the same as your '69. Front is definitely different and everything changed in '74. _________________ "Just $99 down and $64 a month for 36 months buys you a brand new Volkswagen Beetle!"

I wouldent waste $ or thyme on building a small motor. build it big so it dosent have to work hard.remember it's only as fast as your foot alows it to be unless you build a small turd then it just stinks as it squishes up through your toes when you step on it. |
