I had a funny feeling the buyer was not going to honor the sale.

"$10,000 Sold
This sale was an interesting as the winning bid of $10k was placed on the first day and held for the for the entirety of the seven day auction.

From BAT
"This is a relist after the vehicle was previously sold on BaT in November of 2025 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with their commitment to purchase. This was not due to any fault with the vehicle. The winner’s participation on BaT has been restricted."

Thanks!
It's a 72 shaved doghouse shroud. The heater outlets and the other various pieces/parts were plugged or eliminated.

Please feel free to PM me if you have any additional questions.

Can someone explain why there is a tube going from the top of the right carb to the oil intake?

It’s to ventilate the crankcase.
I use the same technique on my 67 coupe.

Still a remarkable vehicle, but I'm inclined to interpret the @911R sticker on the speedo in the driving videos as obfuscation. Also, are what appear to be rolls of electrical tape required to hold the doors fully open?

Those are custom check straps.
Thought you knew.

Front seats have the separate headrests such as on '69, yet the '69 seats have seat rails/tracks which are a few inches closer together than on '68... So either the chassis' rails were rewelded to match the seats, or '69+ seatbacks were installed on '68 bases. They look good either way.
