Although your bus is a bit too low for my taste and it hurt a bit when you installed the modified frame parts for the lowered front axle, I still like the preservation, the patina and the overal outcome of your efforts. Very well done in a very short period of time. It's nice that you make good use of it as well. |

I understand and appreciate it. The modifications that are done can easily be undone in a couple of hours and back to stock if I ever chose to. I always am a sucker for og paint and the way VW did it but I do like them low. My 51 Hoffman rebuild will be stock height. _________________ 1951 Split Standard Hoffman Build

Hoops turned out great. DC is looking good. |
Thanks, the hoops were done by Ken Hippensteel and really detailed wood work. |
I didn’t know he branched out to doing hoops. I thought he just did the slats. _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

Sorry my bad he did the slates only, the hoops and canvas were done by Jacek in Poland. _________________ 1951 Split Standard Hoffman Build

I finally got around to adding the rear bumper guards thanks to my friend SKIM hooking me up with these. I had to reshape them and do some rethreading but nothing new on og parts. Also thanks to Wolfsburg West for the bars they are top notch but I had to do three to four different colors and 400 grit sand paper to recreate the patina.

Nice looking DC! A lot of nice touches and great workmanship put into it. Makes me miss mine a little. _________________ Anthony
