You have a beautiful van, super nice!
Could you please give some more details on the upholstery and the headrests? Did you do it yourself, ordered some covers (and installed them) or have them done at a shop?
Regarding the headrests, are these the original donut headrests that are filled and covered?

Thank you. I bought the Vanagon like that. The front seats are black from another non-VW van, and the rear bench is newly upholstered leather. When I first inspected the Vanagon prior to purchase, there were no headrests. I didn't want to dicker with the price, but I added purchase conditions to have the fuel lines replaced, to replace the long coolant lines with stainless steel, and to have three headrests for the bench. They feel like they are the original style headrests which were then covered in leather. They're just fine, and the interior does not really have a smell like I recall from an older VW Bus in my life history--I think I feel slightly jipped. The smell is part of the nostalgia.
