Bumper over rider fit question

So after all these years of running 'naked' no over riders I decided to buy a set of over riders for my 50 Split. These are the chrome stamped steel variety. They seem high quality but I have a question on the fit. They look to be all the same but are they the same front to back and side to side? And should it sit flush with bumper or can there be a gap? They seem to have a gap. Of course this is repro on repro and not oem bumpers or overriders.
