The crank pulley on my 1991 2.2 powered Subivan has been wobbling a bit and the rubber is hard as rock. I was just wondering what is the newest year, model, and engine this pulley was used on.

Thanks in advance

it's all the same 12305 AA243 for the serp belt and 12305 AA001 for the V belt.

if it's a V belt, that changed sometime in the early 90's and shouldn't be rubber isolated.

DO NOT buy a dorman one...they are fukin junk. OEM is like 130 bux

The early crank pulleys had an issue with coming loose causing key way damage. Which means a new crank. A tsb came out, increased the torque value of I remember correctly.
If your pulley is wobbling, get on it right away and don't drive until it's corrected....

The pulley was nice and tight to the crank, but the rubber appears to be in failure mode, it being hard as a rock. I had lost the bearings in the alternator and was looking for why it happened when I noticed the pulley wobbling a bit. I installed another one that I had of the same age but the rubber is more supple and it runs true, but want to find a low mileage one that is at least ten years newer. Lots of Subarus in our local wrecking yard but the dealer is a goodly number of miles away.

I had looked up the spec on the internet and seen the controversy on how tight the bolt should be. Went with the 135 ft*lb spec over the lesser ones.

Thumbs up, good news.... I should probably replace, or at least stock a newer pulley too. Mine is coming on 20 years old too.
